Oslobygg KF gains full control of key management

Challenge with manual handling and lack of overview

Oslobygg manages properties ranging from schools and preschools to nursing homes, cultural buildings and sports facilities. With 650 employees and thousands of keys in circulation, it is crucial to maintain full control over who has access to which keys.

– We had no established solution for vehicle keys, so they were handled manually. This created a risk of lost keys and made it difficult to maintain an overview. The new solution has given us a structured and secure way to manage vehicle keys, with full traceability and simple access control, says Muthiah Jegthas at Oslobygg.

Structured and secure key management

Oslobygg was already using Creone’s KeyBox for managing property keys. When the need arose for a similar solution for vehicle keys, several providers were evaluated, but once again the choice fell on Creone. According to Muthiah Jegthas, Creone had a deep understanding of Oslobygg’s operations and was able to offer a solution that best met their needs. With KeyBox and the cloud-based administration software KeyWin, Oslobygg now has a structured and secure way to manage vehicle keys, with full traceability and straightforward access control.

Full control and increased security

The extended solution has given Oslobygg full control over both property and vehicle keys. All handling is now traceable in KeyWin, which minimizes the risk of lost keys and increases security for both employees and the organisation. Using the same solution for both property and vehicle keys has simplified daily operations and created a clear structure.
